ticky tock you're in the UK? i spent a winter there one summer

it was 27 degrees yesterday and today will be a high of 15 - big difference

the funny thing is you see folks with no stockings and their toes out (me) and the native floridians have on boots

i had the air conditioning on last night and the heat (just a blast) on this morning

i love it! and it's so nice to walk the beach at this time of the year - it's all mine

nanook i don't even own a winter coat and i haven't worn stockings in over 3 years

last time i was really cold was one easter in nj - even abu had tights on - and we could barely move our arms with all the padding my mom supplied us with

i have a fireplace and i've never used it - i may light it for christmas this year - unless it's 81

Seveen...that is one line they use when they talk about Duluth. The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in Duluth, lol...

Love it! I have my beaches to myself too, lol.

uk is always freezing even in summer!-in winters we get below freezing sometimes but it does not snow very deep

I'm in the far northwestern tip of Wisconsin near the nose of the wolf head shaped Lake Superior..

See Duluth/Superior on the lower left hand corner?

I am not far from Superior near the south shore.

Yes is in far north USA! You can only go about 2 1/2 to 3 hours farther north, then you hit the "Iceboc of the nation" International Falls Mn, and then northern Ontario Canada. . Much of the US is cold. Duluth is the third coldest city in the US year round average. Some place in New Hampshire is number 1 cold place and I forget where is number 2.

Well, say a prayer that this works. I dragged my snowblower inside my shop and made it a fire to warm it up so hopefully I can get it to start!

there's a place in orlando that has a "ice christmas" set up

but it's 9 degrees in there and we don't have any clothes for that

Marnin Rootise! It worked! It's getting so beat up I really do need to start thinking about replacing it. Yes it's a big un. 8 hp, can't do with anything smaller than this. It's gotten a work out for exactly 20 years this year...

Funny Seveen! You no ride it, you walk behind it. See the handles there...they are self propelled though so hopefully they run right and you don't have to work too hard. Just walk behind and steer it.

This is for Seveen.... Now Abu would REALLY LOVE a ride on this thing. This is my old tractor at work. It was the biggest John Deere they made at the time, not sure if they have made a bigger one since but this is as tall as my house! That blade is 17 feet wide and the tires are way taller than I am and boy oh boy can you plow some serious snow with that! It also had a kick butt stereo and wicked good A/c.

People move the hell outa your way when they see you coming in one of these!

Anyway, I am a snow removal guru too.

Gimme a tool as long as it's not a shovel and watch me go!

In light of my snowblower problems of late I just came from buying a brand spankin new beauty from Sears! It does everything but steer itself!

I think I'm gonna wish I lived closer to Roots so I could go blow her out. It looks like it's her turn now!
