Qk, glad to hear your mom is doing better.

It's turned nippy here too Nooks. Not like the cold north but down in 30's at night and high 40's in the daytime. Do you still have the orphan schnauser dog?

I am feeling a bit IRIE today ... Nooks - wearing my Reggae Dots!! one of Bim's friends is here in Minneapolis on business ... I am meeting her at the airport after work prior to her return flight; she carried a little sumthin sumthin back from JaJa for me ... gonna collect that. She and her husband and friends visited our place ... things coming along nice - YeeHaa!!

well ... not really too much of a "present" ...

is just some asthma pipes ~

even with my insurance - they are too expensive for me to buy here. one Dr. appointment and one series of perscriptions - and my "allowance" is FINISH ... till I pay a HUGE deductible.

but - they are sold in JaJa for WAY WAY AFFORDABLE ... so - I had Bim pick up a couple and this friend carried them back for me. He was really surprised he was able to buy them from the Pharmacy ~ it took a little 'nudge' from me ... but he did it.

I would love to see your tree Rootsie ...

I am starting from scratch with ours this year ...

have not done one for too many years!!

I used to spend 1/2 my Christmas Gift check from old boss on 1/2 price or 3/4 price "special ornaments" each year after Christmas ... I did have a GLORIOUS TREE ...

and xxx took all the good ornaments when he left .... so the first year after he went ... I had a tree with pretty much lights only - then I quit putting one up.

Bwoy and I are both here this year for the Holidays - so it is now time for decorating again ~

I look forward to it ~ this weekend!!

I'll take a picture of it Lu, but dont get too excited mostly homemade stuff from thr kids and grands.

My mom is also having a tree for the 1st time in like 20 yrs! She also got in on our gift exchange. love it!

Mr. told me last night he will not be lighting any of our yard trees this year ~

something SERIOUS wrong with the current meter ... he got a bill for nearly $200 for the yard in a month (between our home and YardMate Jacynth) and she is gone to her boyfriend in Montego Bay alot of the time ... so it is just Dawta's house and ours ... a couple of lights, possibly a couple fans over night; her tv ... his music player; and a fridge for us and Yardmate ..

YIKES ... that is WAY TOO MUCH!!

they have the current company checking out the situation - hope it gets resolved!!

abu got the rest of his braces on today - i wish they could wire his mouth shut when they finished he got out of the chair and said "whew, i feel weak, i can hardly walk" the orthodontist cracked up

this is the time of year i really appreciate living in florida - even though it's north florida - the temperature is mild enough that no one is wearing coats and our toes are still out

I feel yuh seveen, is 57 right now, this afternoon was close to 70. I wore a short sleeve shirt & sandals to work on December 3rd!

They're saying a Mild November is traditionally followed by a mild winter overall.

Mom is home & happy to be there. all is right with the world.
