day 2 of tights!
all my neighbors have their plants covered with blankets - kinda spooky
but by tuesday we are supposed to be back in the 60's

I feel so bad for you guys when your temps do dip down a bit ... you are so not used to it.
when I was out at the bus stop this morning at -0- ... I felt so much more comfortable ... 'warm' - compared to the temps eariler this week. We get some snow late today and then dip way WAY down again!!
I spent too much time watching HGTV and dreaming up new plans for the yard over my Holiday time off ....
this is my next idea ... of course this is a bit more 'ornate' than what the reality will be ... but - I definately wish for an outdoor living space one day. He said he can do this for me in the location that Dawta's board house is currently. She will move into her living spaces in the concrete house when they get finished.
I just love the look of these ...
His thoughts are to have the roof more compact / or solid, opposed to the open beams ... that way we could still use it if the rain comes down ...Comment

i'm <span style="font-style: italic">addicted</span> to HGTV but haven't done a thing to my house - too busy watching HGTV
it is not cold enough to wear undies and thermal underwear - besides i drive abu to school and he gets a ride home - the most he is outside is when/if he walks sheba
besides - you can't find any of that stuff down here - i went to Dick's yesterday looking for a jacket and it was all high-priced ski stuff - too high-priced for only 6 days of cold weather
next month this time - it will almost be spring
and by march 1 or so - we'll be visiting the beach - not to swim but nice walks and picnics
it's just cold to us - LOLComment

BOAL ... me too ... too busy watching HGTV and Food Network to do much cooking ~ and apartment living does not allow me to do much decorating here. So - all the dreams are for JaJa ~
do you want me to find a pair of long undees to send to Abu? I am certain we still have them up here.Comment

20 degrees today and we are expecting snow tomorrow or Friday. Snow is fine, just hope it does not rain and bring ice since the temps are so low right now.
I was a good employee and did not take the Natty day yesterday.

Is HGTV the one with househunters international? Man I love that show..
we are under lake effect snow they said <span style="font-style: italic"> until further notice </span>
Joe has about a 3 min drive to work..its taken him twice as long to get there!

yep HGTV is the one with House Hunters International - recently they had a family looking for a house in Jamaica -
it's interesting to see how contemporary some of the house around the world are - Malta looked fab
i also like to watch the "staging" shows - to find cheap ways to freshen things up - although they aren't cheap to me 'cause the labor is most of the cost and i don't have any laborersComment

well if it snows in that city - it will be closed and you'll get your Natty day
i remember once the mayor came on and told us "it is going to snow, please stay home because it may snow today"
of course it didn't snow - the snow storm of 1982 makes the ATL panic just to hear the wordComment

Last year we were at the mall and there was a slight dusting of snow coming down, it didn't stick ........they closed the mall
