it's not a villa but Rhodes Hall in Negril might work

it's not on the "main" beach - it has a beach of it's own and lovely grounds

your guests would be able to book their own rooms so you don't have to worry about no-shows

and everyone would have a lot more privacy

another thought is The Westender on the cliffs out west end negril - beautiful property - again not a villa but the rooms are reasonable

i think both of these are small enough with beautiful gardens, private beach and pools to have an intimate ceremony

there are restaurants on-site too - so food prep wouldn't be an issue

and close enough to negril to have some fun

Those places look great Seveen

The reason I was looking at Villa's was to reduce cost...
Having a kitchen and family to cook really helps. I figure I could stock it with a bunch of Rum and drinks from the store...

I did not see a Wedding package on Rhodes website, but the ones I have looked at seem pretty pricey and did not include accommodations for us, let alone our family...

Laurel, Harding Hall does not look bad, and is MUCH closer to home...


I am open to all suggestions

Harding Hall is very nice, pool, wrap-a-round verandah - nice acreage - private

and family can cook there - inside and out

Bandi - Harding Hall worked so nice for the Christmas Family Reunion we had a few years back.

as Seveen said - cooking inside and out ... (if you are having the JaJa Family help with that.)

But - like I said .. it is not posh with luxury as some of those in Treasure Beach or lot's of the other upscale digs ... but - I know we will use it again for a large 'family do'. plus - it was close enough that all the family that was available could manage to get there.

we love it there. it truly turned out to be a place I had dreamt of ~


but - if I was young and planning a destination wedding ~ those luxury places look to die for!!
