I like Block Buster on line because we rent new movies free when we return the on line ones to the store and we get a coupon with another free one every month.

I will say that Netflix had Smile Orange (which Block Buster had but could not say when it would be available). They also had The Adventures of Ma &amp; Pa Kettle ( very long wait on BB)

This reminds me of stories out of Gambia...

Western woman goes on holiday, meets local, romance, few years down the line buys a compound, is ok about his family living there, two sisters each with 1 or 2 kids, she comes 2x a year and stays with him in the compound, after a few years she finds out the &quot;sisters&quot; are in fact his wives and they are his kids...

Another story of a woman married to a Gambian, bought a compound, lives here in Europe, his family moves in, withóut her permission, takes it over basically, she's a guest in her own property (and of course is still liable for repairs, building, etc.).

The grand prize tho is the guy gets invited over here, and once he gets his papers after 3 years of continuous co-habitation, marriage, whatever, does a runner, goes underground in his own community, europe-wide (and more often than not, after a few years goes back and brings over his sweetheart), maybe already having kid(s) with his &quot;lady-of-the-papers&quot;.

So many stories...

I do have the book, it's very interesting! In fact I have put it on my shelf to reread!

One of the interesting theories in the book for instance, it talks of &quot;Affection Deficit Disorder&quot; - in the western world there is a man shortage, whereas in the developing world there is a surplus, hence travel offers opportunities.

I myself married a guy I met while travelling - having a relationship was the last thing on my mind - hence the interest. We are long since divorced, but I kept the best bit - my son!

I was just remembering a German woman and her Rasta husband. I met them at Irie Rest. When I first met her she was staying there and I had dropped by to visit Lennie and Pauline and the gang.

The next time I ran into her to she was married to him and said they were living in a likkle rasta house in the hills. Her Mom was viiting from Germany and staying at Irie Rest.

The last few times I was in Jamaica I would see them around.

I wonder if she is still there. I believe they started out as an LDR.

I've met a few there and here who are married with kids to Ja men which started out as LDRs. It does happen. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be...

Her name is Gabby. Any one run in to her in TB lately?
