Seveen ... we were sitting way back from the stage ... at a table so we could catch up chatting all day long, near the drink & food carts and stands, so I did not get a good look see of him till I searched him out on Google ~ drooling for sure ~
but let me tell you ... his music was so much the highlight for me!!

Hey Lu Making tomato sauce, got another batch in the oven now. Found an easy recipe for roasting them . No blanching the skins off just add everything to the tomatoes and put in the oven for a few hours. Then you run thru a screen and cook on top the stove for a couple more hours to cook down. I use the tomatillos right in there also.

My friend S helped me cut out a quilt for a grandson who is getting married in the future. I would like to get it to the machine quilter before I leave. It is too big for me to machine quilt. So I hope to start block assembly this week, but have a full schedule of doctors, sewing at the VFW, getting my storm door installed, etc. There is always a push at the end of my trip to the US to get things done. Keeps me young. LOL.
We are beginning to get bookings for our rentals. Yeah!! Have a couple of internet contacts that are helping with renting.

Jamaica Miss - glad the rentals are working out that apartment is nice! i still can't believe i won't see you this year again - so glad i got to catch up in april
when i got home from work - abu was curled up in bed - fast asleep
i finally got him up to eat and talk about school
he said the school was AWESOME
that all of the teachers seemed fine - EXCEPT - for the math teacher - he said his voice drones on and on
he also said he didn't eat lunch yesterday because the lunch line was out the door : - i guess they still have to work out that "kink" - i sent him with lunch today just in case it wasn't figured out yet (and he didn't complain)
i had to wake him up this morning - he said he thinks he set his clock to 5:30 PM - we'll be reviewing alarm clock setting later today
Oh Boy!! Abu sounds like a typical teenager, sleeping a lot and not getting the alarm set right. But sorry about his lack of lunch. The school needs to work on that for sure. I just think he is so sweet, like the last time he saw me, he hugged me big.
i'm not totally buying the lunch story - that is the only time where the kids are allowed to talk with one another freely (not in class) - i think he'd rather "blab" than eat

in the early days - I would just go knocking on your door waking you up so I could get the chance to see you before we headed out to the country ... now ( and you say thank God) I just hang on the beach with Abu and let you get your morning sleep ... and you know where to find me ~
