Hey dahJah! Sounds like a fun night.


I'm sposed to be going to a wedding. Been looking forward to it for 1 1/2 years. There's a glitch in my hitch though and I could end up at the bead store instead. Today I get to tell the bride there is a sight chance i may not make it. The chance is slight though, all cause we never know when a baby will decide to arrive.

It's all good though...

He BeBe .... no - Buddy Guy was playing at The State Theater ~ which would have been a great place to see him.

I have been fortunate to catch him a couple times in the past ... but - he is so awesome, and I really wanted Matthew to get his chance to see him perform live.

JaMissie ... yup - Jamaicans like to get the early start to the days prep for Holiday ... nuff cooking and such. Bim had the Family in from the country ... hope they all had fun.

Last nite watched Rambo Part II with 3 men. OMG do they get excited over the action scenes.


Water problems AGAIN!! We are at the end of the line for water and by the time it gets to us there is usually none in the line until the middle of the nite, and then very little at that. I can hardly wait for the other water system to be hooked up when all the roads are finish. Will be taking a GI shower today with rain wata. Ted saved some big receptacles when we had rain recently. Even used it in the clothes washer and clothes came out nicey nice.

Lord I remember washing up with rain water at my granny's house the soap takes FOREVER to rinse off but no much need for lotion after that the way it soft

Ja.Miss my hair looks and feels better with just Ja Air (or Fla) up here where I live is soooo freaking dry my curls suffer.

JMiss, love hearing of your adventure and hope you get the water situation settled soon soon. Must be a tad frustrating at least!

I have a little running to do today then wild horses couldn't drag me away from here for the next some days...

This week my sweet brother brought me my mothers Dept 56 Snow Village. Oh Lord, I forgot how much there was. It was almost a full truck load, which is why he had to deliver it. It would have taken several trips in my car! My mother won contests with her village set up and it is kind of overwhelming to open the boxes one by one to see it all after so long. She hadn't set it all up for about the last 10 years. Some of the pieces are quite valuable but how do you place a dollar amount?

I don't even have enough room to set it all up, so figure if I start this weekend, I can get a decent looking village going next week and maybe change some pieces out once in awhile. The last time I saw her I mentioned maybe she could donate it to the retirement village where she lived so it could be enjoyed and she gave me that look . Little did I know, it was in a written will, mine.

So, that's what I'ma gonna do and melt some glass.

Sadie is leaving for a visit to Val's for the night so she can get her feet trimmed, but she will be back here tomorrow night. My summer horse turned into a year round horse! She is very easy to take care of so I offered.

I had a cleaning service come in to make things spiffy for Uncle UK's visit last week ... this weekend, I have to make sure I re-do everything right away to keep things nice ~

Next weekend, I have a visitor coming again for her overnight stay and airport shuttle ... ... have to keep the place nice and clean n tidy for her visit!!

might do some Fall Comfort Food cooking ... a nice soup ~
