I am late with my weekend plans LOL

Friday - haircut

Saturday - @ work (for no pay) from noon-4 a Volunteer thing.

Then Laundry and housework. and some likka.

Sunday will be my day of rest, I plan to sleep till I can't sleep no more, read a book or 2 and re-rejuvenate for the rhaaaatidbigrhaatid project that is landing on my desk Monday afternoon.

Ted and I plan to drive along West End. He likes to do this at least once a year. He points out things to me that let me know how it used to be over 20 years ago.

Still fighting the water system. Got 2 more big drums of water and still have some rain water to wash clothes. Guess the ganga fields need water so we don't get any when that happens. Or there are still a lot of people filling up their drums along the route and since we are the last ones, we don't have any water in the line to speak of. Once in a while a trickle comes our way. Ted heard from the workers on the road that the new water system soon come. It can't come soon enough for me as the drums are expensive to fill.

Didn't get to do the west end trip after all because it was raining cats and dogs in the afternoon. Will try it soon. Today he's busy with chores. Machete is out and working. LOL.

They skyping is good

Sometime it cut out an cut out so much it is frustrating but we had good luck this weekend

My friend picked up my kids last night so we had some alone time, and talked for over 2 hours. The skype sweet me

Wata is beginning to trickle into the tanks. Thank you Lord. We have a renter for a week first part of November, so really need to get it straightened out before they come.

Ted brought in a huge yam from the garden. He says there are more out there and these are a little young. They looked mature to me, but he's the Yam Man. Says okra is coming soon and cucumber plants look good.

so - busy busy weekend past me ...

Grandma is still alive at 101 years out in SoDak ... my sister called to see if I could go out last weekend, along with my brother and dad. YES - it worked out that we could all go.

so - I scheduled time off work - just in case my ride wanted to leave on Friday ... indeed he did ~ would link with another friend of his and make it a Weekend Hunt ~

so - there was barely enough room in the car for me to small up myself amongst all the hunting gear ... and off we went.

PERFECT weather for a November Weekend ...

about a 6 hour road trip ...

the guys rushed out to stomp the fields as soon as we arrived - I relaxed in my cousins wonderful home till she got home from work &amp; errands.

She has hunters come from all over the country ~ what wonderful fun !!! sometimes she cooks, sometimes they cook ... but all join in for some good party fun gathered in her kitchen and great room after their big days out. I have gotten in on a couple of these parties ~

my brothers friend bought several bottles of wine (cousin likes her wine!! ) ... the men gather in &quot;The Man Cave&quot; after their hunt - cigars, pot belly stove fire, beer, and they 'compare stories' ... the cooking is done and the women gather in the house and bust open the wine.

Friend asked Cousin 'which bottle did you open and did you like it?' ...

Cousin answered 'we opened them all and loved each one!!'

Lord God ... we went thru 4 bottles of wine before dinner!!!

Big Laughs ~ Big Food ~ Big Fun ~

the next day the men had arranged for a large group hunt ... my brother had never joined one of these ... usually just gone out with one or two ...

HE LOVED IT!!! they had the bestest time EVER!!!

Grandpa was instrumental in establishing our family land into World Class Pheasant Hunting ... and this weekend was one of THE MOST GLORIOUS my brother had ever experienced ~

One of the men cooked and prepared an outdoor field picnic ... his wife carried it all out and set it up ... my cousin helped ~ and I got to tag along ...
