Hey Schultz..I woke up exhausted today so I did nothing. I went outside with the dogs and I think I got color on my skin. Geeze it was 25 and sunny and felt warm on my deck so I just wore a t shirt!

I practiced making a horse bead and think I will have a Windchill bead soon to give to Kathi. Let's see..then I wrote up a thing on my website so people would know where to send donations or buy raffle tickets and just before I posted it I lost it so now I have to have a do over. Then I had a super hot soak under the window with the sun shining in and it was so hot I had to open the window! Yikes 25 degrees and we get excited about summer!

Then me and ChaCha had a nap. And I'm ready to go back to bed but I will wait till dark and me and the kids will watch Westminster! My exciting day (not!). How was your day Schultz? I have so much work to do but I needed this day of nothing! I'ma gonna go watch windchill for awhile!

you know, Nanook, someone posted a questionnaire of sorts this week with a number of questions for ppl to answer. one question was when was the last time you cried? i honestly couldn't remember.

well, that is over. i have just watched windchill on you tube and the tears are rolling. what wonderful human beings and an amazing creature.

i never cease to be amazed by people who seem unable to comprehend the importance of our 4-legged friends. if we, as the supposed "superior animal", are not willing to take care of the "lesser ones" ...... well, you know what i mean.

Yeah..lots tears been flowing here since I heard about Windchill on Thursday night. Less after I saw him but they come still.

Sad nuh tru coolbeans. But is a story that is looking like it will have a happy ending at least! When I was there yesterday his eyes were bright and now look..he has been standing up all day!

Windchill still needs our prayers he is not out of the woods yet but he is a little fighter!

Can you believe my face is sunburned? I wasn't out there that long but the sun is bright and reflects off the snow! Looks much better now, lol.

Tomorrow I plan to do the same as today only I will prolly bead or something. When I make a good enough bead (I should say IF) I will take a pic for sure! It is not coming easy to make a horsie bead! It is possible I might never make a good enough one but I am workin on it.

Good morning. I was anxious to see some progress this am. The last post was from last night at 7:30. Poor little guy...sounds like he was tired from standing so long. I wonder if they let him lay down so he could get some sleep. Head bobbling like a likkle youth...

Nanook, good luck with your bead making....I bet you'll have it perfected today. I've got a lot of chores to do today. I'm feeling a little guilty I usually go see my folks on Sunday but I'm trying to put my house back together. Rennovation is a pain in the backside but it sure does look pretty.

Marnin Schultz! I am not so sure I will ever make a good horsie bead but I is trying! Just doing the head. maybe I am trying to put too much detail in them but the molten glass doesn't always go where I want it to.

Rennovation is a total pain but it will be soooo worth it when you'redone! Maybe this afternoon I might go see Windchill. I dunno though. I am trying not to until I know if he is gonna make it or not.

Where is Laurel with her headache. I wanna hear it's gone!

I was just off trying to link onto the Windchill webcam ... have not gotten onto it yet ... altho - I was able to open the channel 11 news report ... YES - that is the one that sat me upright ....

got my groceries yesterday and managed to get one case packed. I had to do a huge shop for BabyGirl ... she has outgrown all her clothes ... spent the rest of the day in bed ... had a good sleep - head ache easing - but now the 'hang-over' ~

Nooks - you need to take care of yourself thru this stressful time as well ....do not take on too much.

what did I miss about a bead??? are you doing a Windchill bead?

Schultz ... send photos of your new kitchen ... or are they someplace else pon the board??

Yayyy Laurel there you are I have been worrying about you! Kare 11 did a great story! Isn't Jeff just a sweet guy! Kathi is too, I feel so fortunate to have met such wonderful people. You know I don't know anybody over here at all except my nearest neighbor and the guy who owns the greenhouse. Geeze now I have this opportunity to know more peeps that live in the hood.

Yes I am working on making a Windchill bead. I want to make one for Kathi. I started out last fall trying to make a Bucko bead but that didn't go so well I couldn't see what I was doing through my blubbering tears & shaking hands. Now instead I have an opportunity to make a black horse bead and I didn't bawl but the glass isn't cooperating that much anyway! Oh well, it usually takes around 10 of something new before I get anything close to decent and so I have a few to go yet. That is what I will be doing this morning after the letting out and feeding time.
