Having my cup of coffee and traveling along with you in Jamaica. Nice Nice!
Love to hear when adult children can go and share in the serenity and beauty of Jamaica. I dont have a daughter, but a lovely goddaughter and we got a chance for a trip together. That trip seem to have made our bond stronger. Still hoping to get there with both my sons one day and my grandkids. </div></div>
Natty I have been begging my Son to go with us forever, now I am begging for him to allow my Grandson to come with me, the mother says yes but my Son says no. Maybe when he starts missing me next year he will come and bring my Baby with him. I can only pray. I know William would love it, he has his Grandmother's Heart. He knows when I go and complains that he is never invited. Can't tell him the truth, I have to respect his Father, but there are times when I wish I had made my kids afraid of me, maybe then I would be in charge instead of the other way around. Talk about Bossy, not easy, hummm.
Orbra, such a good report. Your trip sounds so peaceful and full of reflection. I am happy that you found this special place for you to spend many deserved days and nights in retirement.
I cannot wait until you finally get off the airplane and know that this is your home for a while. I expect at least weekly writings from you on the board with reflections and observations. I know I am in for a treat.
New Years will be very special this year for me. I will be bringing my first grandchild and I can't wait for you to meet her. I plan for her to visit Jamaica every year and learn to think of this lovely place as her second home. See you soon

Watching an endless game or two, or three, of dominoes, good food, enjoying good music as you just sit back and relax and soak in the sights and sounds around you, that is a very good thing. Just laying on the beach or sitting at the bar at the beach gazing out into the ocean, while you contemplate life.I was told once, that sometimes in order to communicate with the living, you got to communicate with the dead I had some decisions to make and being in the two environments I was in opened my mind more to let the thoughts flow freely. Please forgive if I sound a little morbid, but this all comes from my heart.
People who don't have a clue have told me, "you've seen one parish, you've seen them all" not true they may look similar, smell similar, but because I have opened my heart to let it in, they all have a different flavor, a different flow, a different vibe. Sadly Duncan's Bay is a place I would have missed out on had JaJewel not made it her home, and a pity it would have been, because it has a lot to offer, A laid back, people friendly, nurturing place, a good place to go when the World starts getting on your bad side. Wherever You go, there You are but a beautiful environment helps a whole heap. </div></div>
