On my very first trip to JA I saw him perform. I had never heard of the man before. I came home and on my way from the airport I stopped and bought the &quot;One Man Against the World&quot; CD.

Gregory was my first taste of Reggae outside of Bob and Peter

Bandie, did u see di pictures mi posted one late nite in music...u could see how Gregory use fi look healthy and ting...it was a lineup wid him, Coco Tea, Freddie an nuff more...mi did tek it wid dem lean up gainst a wall...all looking youthful and full of Jamaican Reggae zeal and ting..ah sah...dose were the days indeed...memories dont leave like odda do

From my very first trip to JA I have lived and breathed Reggae music. I have spent countless dollars on albums and concerts. I have accepted with open arms the spiritual message of Roots, and I have marveled at the way Jamaican men sing about love...

On my last trip it had been 3 years since I reach, and I had almost forgotten this was the land of Reggae.
I smiled all week long just for the sweet sound of reggae music everywhere...

This trip, someone told me that they don't really care about the music in Jamaica...

I could not imagine my life with out it...

On the days when I am low, Luciano picks me up...
On the days when I have all but given up on men, Dennis Brown reminds me that there are some loving men out there...
On the days when I feel fi dance and sing, Morgan Heritage gets my feet moving every time...
When I just want to hold a medi and reflect, Burning Spear hits the spot..

I love all kinds of music. Melody and lyrics are in my soul...

There is no other music that has touched me the way that Reggae music has...
