For the first time this trip I don't feel fi tek any pictures and I just soak up Jamaica...
The bartender at the Villa's has a laptop and he is making a CD for the lady who asked me about the Festival the other night...
She keeps asking him who is singing this song, and I keep answering for him
When the bartender brings me a Ting I ask what I have to do to get a CD burned for me
The man says he will burn one, but he does not have any more blanks...
I'll go get some
where do I go???
He says there is a store up by the Value Master where I can get them...
After breakfast I go out to the road and hail a cab to the Value Master.
I get the blank CD and then go up to Hi-Low for some coffee to take home.
I ended up in the little shops behind Hi-Low and found one of the coolest things mi ever buy in JA...
This photo album is made out of all natural material... coconut tree leaves and shells...
it is so beautiful, and I can't wait to fill it with my memories
Arms full of souvineers and a next bottle of Rum Cream, I head back to the Villa's to get my CD burned!

Dem have it as a journal too. Very nice!! Dat curry food did look meckeh meckeh (too watery), and the meat look like it cook too long
, but it showly neva put in mine a no excretory producks and di po festival dem waiiieeeee oonu is a set weh neva fail di crax mi up!
I cant take di sunset pics!!!!! What a sight man. Sweet sweet sweet!

The heat a lick me and I decide to jump in the water... a quick swim and a cold bottle of water I am feeling much better...
I sit and wait while the man makes my CD.
When the CD done I thank him and walk next door to visit my man Elvis
I ask if he had anything to eat today and he says yes... ok, mek mi buy something so you get dinner too I found a cool magnetic necklace and sit and chat to him a while. There is a yardie who has pulled his car up behind them and he is spinning some serious tunes 
I look next door at the Condo's beach and think how appropriate that I feel more comfortable here in the Jamaican's territory than on the endless lounge chairs filled with tourists...
I could never stay at an all inclusive...

The day before when I was watching the men play dominoes there was a lady who had approached me and asked if I wanted my hair braided. I told her that I prefer to keep my curls. She says you could get just 1 or 2 braids to go home with...
yeah, I could... but what I really want is that hat you are wearing She tells me the price and I don't have it on me, so I told her that I would meet her today and get 2 braids and the hat. 
I take a quick shower and head over to Errols where I had seen her the day before. The man out front asks if I am looking for the lady.
Yes I am
He calls her cell and says she soon come.
I take a seat and enjoy the view...
The Rasta I was admiring from afar yesterday was sitting over in one corner and he waves at me...
When the lady came she brought her little girl with her
The same age as Imanni, and in her little uniform...
I was a gonner
She sat and talked to me while her Mommy braided my hair. When the braids were done I remembered I had one last tennis ball in my bag.
Can she have it Momma? Sure she can
I spend the afternoon in my room listening to my new CD, looking over my loot, and drinking rum cream

I managed to go with him to Sweet Spice and get some food to go
Back at the room I eat and then I pass out again
Bossa was none too happy about my slumber and tried to rouse me a few times...
anyone taking notes should know that I am not happy when awoken
The next morning I wake up and he is gone
I panic for a minute, but then I know he would not leave... I take a shower and turn on the coffee pot.
He soon comes back with a present for me
He had been telling me about this "picture" of Bob he has that a "mad-man" drew and he wanted to give to me...
now I am thinking it's a sketch on a piece of paper, right?
wrong...
He walks in the door with this painting
wow...
I am speechless...
The edges of it are dingy from being on his wall, and this makes me smile even bigger...
He could not have bought me any item on that island and had it mean more.
To take down a painting from his wall that he'd been looking at for who knows how long, and give it to me to put on my wall and look at... so cool.
One of the best gifts I have ever received

We were watching 'No Reservations Jamaica' before I left and her one request was recipes from JA.
I bought the book for her
