<span style="font-size: 11pt">We head back down the hill, and there is this open bar area with a small stage. On the stage is 2 men one with a keyboard and the other with a mic. They are not singing yet and everyone just passes on through. I tell Bossa I want to stay here for a minute and he stays with me while everyone else keeps moving.
The men decide to serenade me
and they start singing...
To their suprise I know the words and I sing along. They smile really big and so do I
The image of Bob is everywhere, and I take some more pics...
Bossa wants my picture in front of the gate and I oblige

I found all kinds of very cool things and spent way too much money
As I was checking out I see a little basket of Bob Marley pins and I grab 4 of them...
Finally I am making my way back down the stairs and out the gate.
BarryG has to razz me about buying up the place, and I just grin and tell him I bought him something too so hush
I get in the car and hand everybody their pin
Been there, done that, got the Bob Marley pin to prove it

and with that, we are on our way back to Duncan's....

What a lovely trip report and pictures.
I wonder if everyone that visits Bob's resting place gets it....? The emotional feeling and connection. Some don't say anything and then some of us don't want to leave. I remember going on a day when there were no tourists. Almost had the place to myself.
I haven't visited since 2000/2001 and from pictures it has changed alot. More people, more tourist...its sad to me.
I guess I want it to remain the same as it was 10 or so years ago..

I have to admit all the tourists bothered me nacy... especially the ones who looked at me like I had 3 heads for crying
I can't imagine what it was like 10 years ago, I was having trouble imagining 1 year ago when Cedella was alive
