MGee... mi miss yuh questchan... no mi house nah build yet. A tink ie go haffi wait a few more years fi mi get mi retirement fund... if ie still deh.

At some point we went to Jack Sprat for conch soup. Not bad, different than what I'm used to but tasty and loaded with conch &amp; veggies.

I was tooo busy eating it to take pictures of it.

Tonks Sinco!!

On Monday? We took a road trip. First stop JMiss and the ladies in Negril.
Jamaica Miss &amp; Ted hav a beautiful home on a hill with a spectacular view. It's very homey and warm, like the Mistress of the Castle.





This is JMissy's handiwork, just a piece of the quilt she hand made for Ted. The picture does NOT do it justice. The colors are so rich &amp; vibrant and it is so very well made.


Now I didn't get a lot of pics coz we were too busy yapping to each other. Orbra's daughter was getting ready to head out that night and we were off to lunch at Half Moon Beach.
Jmiss &amp; DreamsofJamaica and my friends and I. We had a lovely lunch and threw rocks for the dogs!
JMiss &amp; I were the water babies while the rest of the travellers chilled on the beach. JMiss &amp; I got to know each other a little better in the calm clear caribbean... until the clouds came in It got dyam chilly!! I didn't want to get out of the water. Then came the party boat and I knew it was time.

The rest of the road trip was a lot of looking and talking all the way thru Mobay and up to Ochi. Out the car window pics...










So many HUGE resorts along the north side, lost track of what was what...




By the time we stopped on the outskirts of Ocho Rios I needed a cup of coffee. We stopped at a place called Flavours on the side of the road. My friend's cousin's place. He worked in the hotel industry for years then got laid off and started on his own. He does ok.


From there we went up to the cousin's home in a lovely neighborhood and just chilled for an hour or so before the hellacious ride thru the hills and back down thru Brown's Town, Cave Valley, Mandeville and finally down Spur Tree and thru Junction, Southfield, Flagaman &amp; home. I was beat!! The ride was so scary I was tense the whole way thru. Wishing it had been daylight so I could have enjoyed the views that at night I was sure were the death of me!!
Jamaican drivers still amaze me.
