I baked a cake for Miss Teen ... turned 13 ~
after it passed the taste test ... I got the instructions on how a cake SHOULD be made and decorated JaJa Stylee ... with proper piping decoration, and "Happy Birthday with Name" written out ....
I had to remind him - my intention was to make her a cake in the style that I had always made my son's birthday cakes ~
with the frosting schmmeered on and nuff sprinkles ~ yada yada ~ I am not a cake artist ~
I brought only one mix along - thought I would find measure cups and baking pans between our three yard households ...
NOT ....
no measure cups and only one round cake pan (thank you Sharon!!) ... so it was a single layer with schmmeered coconut frosting ... she was happy and loved it!!
took an hour for the oven to decide to blaze up ... loose wires n such ... I almost had to try to bake it in an electric fry pan I brought along for my kitchen ~
it turned out so nice ~Comment

hey Hot Peppa ~ we have a couple cook shops by us now ... ever so nice
QKie .. too right ~ Charlie has been around for a while now; he gets NUFF offers to buy him ...
nope ~ he stays with us! he once said sumthin about NOT eating an animal that has been 'named' ... so - I hope that is the case ~
he is lovely and strong and nuff healthy ... so far, no goat has not passed my lips. but - I know he enjoys it, but so far, NOT Charlie ~
Schultz ... it was simply divune ... but - cuz I had not reached for so long, it took me some time to really un-wind so I could sleep proper ... almost took till I was to return to the states. but - nevermind - we all had such a lovely time. He was hard working in the days, she was at school, I had a few beach days on my own - we spent our evenings together watching some family movies I brought for Girl ~ we were all just happy being together ~
