Marilyn that does sound...uh...unpleasant.

The last time we went HB in Jamaica was in Negril at a facility in Green Island (I can't remember the name).

That tour took us up into some nearby hills and then on the beach as the tour ended. We did not take the horses as deep into the water as those on the Chukka Cove tour. Though the horses seem to really enjoy the refreshing sensation of the water after that long, hot ride.

OK I did this once with SHon, and the problem is that as soon as those horses hit the water things start to come out of them (if you know what I mean). Which is ok if you are the front horse, but if you are behind others...not so much fun.

I posted earlier about the landscaping co. we found not far from our district. I can't remember the name but the owner is Mr. Wooley (man with hat on the left).


I snapped at the wrong moment - just as Hannah was swallowing a mouthful of plantain, bacon, eggs...Breakfast! Nice thing about having an unfinished kitchen and next to no furniture - most meals were outdoors on the porch

I think I've heard of Linton Park (and may have even been in it but I'm not sure) however I definitely know of the Lintons. We visited a home renovation business owned by a gentleman whose last name is Linton - not too far from Brown's Town.

Thank you for your report Work got in the way and prevented me from soaking in your trip report until now, and it was right on time for me (reflections on THE important things in life)

My sister has been really good about capturing our family history on video with most on tape recorder. My maternal grandmother is 98 and if its one thing that’s still working is her gift of gab. Such precious memories.

This was a charming trip report filled with ageless beauty (mom and other family members)




This picture took my breath away, the way the light bounces off the backdrop, and that was just the start of my gasps....it was a prelude to the overwhelming moments of introspection into my own life, appreciating the history sharing from your family.

As for food pics....ehhh who needs em the history and storytelling fills the appetite And I don’t get pics of all my meals, it seems like I do though cause I gets my grub on...and often, sometimes it's too good and I'm too hungry to pick up the camera
