The pics along the way of your bike tour is the icing on the cake...., rain in Jamaica....what can I say it's as if the higher being is literally speaking to you with each thunderous raindrops

All that greenery, btw did you find any jamaican bars open up there in the wee hours of the morning <span style="font-style: italic">sigh</span>

btw you need to ease up on yu bro prolly scare the poor guy and him just decide to stay away and tell you that him cannot find the camera....cho...and then tell him bout peeple want to stake him watch hout me daon stake yu fee terrorize him and the guy stay away until you cool dung...cho

I am going to jump to the end now and wrap up this report.

After our night at Tanya's club H20, we all head to our beds. All ofus are dead tired and needed sleep.

The following morning was all about family business which me and my brother wrapped up quickly. We spent a bit of time down by the beach, saying good bye to family and then headed off to the airport.

Driving from our place to town centre :

Both Egghead and I wanted to say goodbye to JaJewel and her husband before getting into MoBay. We stop in Duncan's Bay for a goodbye drink with JaJewel Unfortunately Mr JaJewel wasnt home.

Only bad thing about this visit is that we got to chatting too much and we were late leaving out to the airport. Egghead HAD to speed othrwise we werent gonna make it. The rental car still needed to be returned and I wasnt completely sure if I remembered the exact office building.

We get into MoBay and I of course cant remember the exact blg so I called and said u need to meet us at the airport.

We scarmble to get checked in with only 20 minutes to make our flight.


The car rental owner gets there just as we get in line to clear customs. The car did have a scratch on it but I honestly didnt see it until they pointed it out.

But I dug in my heels and said I wont pay a thing b/c when they should have done the walk around with me and given me the correct papers to sign off on, nobody showed up for the 12 days I had the car.

Well, the man start to rasie his voice and said he didnt expect that of me and got aggressive. So my brother steps in and a fight threatens to break out cause he wont let anyone talk to me like so. He put the man in his place and the owner said fine. The guy who brought me my car will be fired when he gets back and I said GOOD.

I walk off at this point b/c we need to make this flight. We race thru customs with no issues - for a change and barely make the final boarding call The trip ended the same way it began - me making a mad dash to the plane

We had different flights leaving out of Toronto to home, so I arrived into Edmonton before Egghead did.

No pix of the flight back. I just wanted to close my eyes and dream about the trip I just experienced so I did .

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

If he finds the recorder at some point I will post but who knows. I definitely had it when we left for the airport so the only possibility is that he left it there or it is in his house and he is just too disorganized to find it at the moment

Portland is a beautiful parish. I have mixed feelings about too many ppl making there way there. Although it would benefit those who live there if more tourists came, I also would not want the influx of ppl to &quot;spoil&quot; the place as well. The untouched nature is part of its charm.

Sorry Missus

One point I want to say about Port Antonio is that the town is incredibly clean. Every night around midnight you see the waste management trucks come thru picking up garbage. And then the street sweeper coming behind to get the pieces of garabage that the trucks may miss.

The roads and sidewalks never stay dirty for more than a day.

This really struck me hard. Other towns in JA that have far more tourists in their mist are not even remotely as clean as this little town was.

Since I have worked for a Waste Management company in the past, I am hyper aware of such things

For the few tourist that show up in this far away parish, they took pride in how their town looked. At the Errol Flynn marina, there are garbage receptacles along the pathways and ppl actually use them

Maybe because of my work experience I see things this way, but I find how a place deals with their garbage is window into the pride that exist within people's hearts. So for those who travel to Port Antonio, you may see run down buildings and such, but when you look a little closer you see a set of people with much pride and love for their homes and do their very best with what they are given.
