hey folks
have a few pics to share from my january trip . . . rex's place at commodore hill, portland, close to long bay . . .

first a pic of my grandchild sura and my daughter mia


we were late 1 hr leaving toronto . . . once i reached mo bay, clearned customs, got the car, i was on my way in 45 minutes.
i was alone until port maria. enjoyed the ride, rained a little all way way. rex met me in port maria, kind of half way to his home

didn't take a lot a pics the first few days . . . just relaxed and got re-acquainted with the home . . . a few pics of the home that has got a face lift . . .

rex had a job, the same house he was building three months ago and i had a lot of time to kill, drove the back way to reach falls, stunning views . . a few miles of total bush, occasionally a person sees things farmers have brought up to be taken to porty market.

sista, thanks for stopping by . . .

i had afternoon naps the first three afternoons, once everyone left the yard it was just me and the dogs and the birds . . .doesn't get better than that . . . the views surrounding me

i'd do a run to winnifred for couple of hours, stop by boston for festival and whatever else and head home . . . there is something very comforting going to "home" with your own things around you . . .

i met a woman at jah b's in october 09 . . . we hit it off and she just happen to be in ja at the same time, kingston. elizabeth took a public transport to porty, picked her up at the bus park. we drove up to thitchfield to look at some guesthouses for her . . . we toured ivanhoe's, the place next door(forgot name) and scotia house around the corner. we parked in front of ivanhoes. there is yard parking at any of the guesthouses on that street.

when we were ready to leave, my back tire was flat. . . . the men were very eager to fix the flat . . . i drove it down to the tire man at the bus park right away as i felt that they made the flat . . . thank goodness they only let the air out and did not damage the tire. . . . note to self: do not park cars in that stretch, people are trying to create their own opportunities to make money.

hey liz, thanks for stopping by.

i drove past zion country down long road looking for my little jamaican woman friend. found her, ready to have baby #5 . . . she promised to have her tubes tied, we'll see . . .

we went to bath one day, i love that ride through the cane fields, endless road with nothing but canes . . .
rasta steve and the rest of the gang were there . . . i find it amusing the way the men work, mostly on the women customers . . . lyrics and more lyrics . . . rex says the mud is just from the hill mixed with water and some pimento oil . . . hey, whatever works for whomever . . .
