i requested a refund from caribbean sunset

i was supposed to stay there 7 nights and didn't stay any

well they gave a refund for 6 nights but not 7 nights stating there was a penalty for not staying i know they didn't expect me to stay in the BLACK MOLD HOTEL

after much back and forth with orbitz - including showing them a copy of the review i put on tripadvisor and some other places

i got a full refund!

lesson learned: a bargain is not always a deal

Great report Seveen. Sorry bout the intro of your trip, but glad it was resolved on Day 1. The honest opinion of the place is appreciated. I don't think I'll ever forget that pic of Red hightailing it down Norman Manley, that's inspiration for anyone having second thoughts about where to stay to get the heck out before sunset.

Yeah my onion stopped crying when I saw the BBB bar stools, gotta test those out in about a hundred days or so

i like bar b barn because:

family owned for over 30 years - you can feel the love in the property

on the beach - with all the goings without the hassle - thanks to mr campbell - security

reliable food - you want to eat - you can eat - anytime - 2 restaurants

great bar stools and bar - and you don't have to miss the beach while drinking - even got ice if i was drinking from my own bottle :shh:

clean rooms - angela is adding that feminine touch

good location - easy to go up or down beach at whim - either walking or right out the lobby door - and you're own your way

nice guests - including alot of jamaicans from kingston - that come there to get away and are fun and sharing
