I always make it a point to see some new corner of Jamaica that I haven't seen before. I've been trying to get to Malvern a few times before but always manage to miss it. So this time mek up mi mind fi concentrate pon de road an reach!

...concentrate up until I get disctracted by views like this!

Malvern is high up on the Santa Cruz Mountains and it's refreshingly cool up here. Although I'm sure that at night it gets Kanadian up there

It's a pleasant likkle g-strict although on a Sunday afternoon it was absolutely dead! But then again, it's all about the journey and not the destination.

Liked this massive tambrind tree near the cemetary on the way out of town.



Soon the views of the South Coast way down below come into view.













The heavy black clouds compress over the Manchester and St. Bess highlands and scrape rooftops at a high rate a speed!

Combination of time of day and settings. Everything at midday is wash out. Is a new camera and me still nuh know how fi tek faraway pictures good. Everything close up come out nice.

dat jus hilight di fack say mi nuh know wat is a Malvern One time mi did go Mile Gully side (fra Shooters Hill), and see one sign say Cobblestone, or supm- nuh memba, but di sign did have one intesting name, and mi decide say mi gwey driveout an spree. Mi do some breed a drive drive into some hilltop an all now mi nuh rch di place. WEn mi go backa Mville, dey tell mi say di place dey wayyy ova woiewoie- I tink is some Arawak place (lawgad, wah Cudjoe ppl dem name again Di M ppl- Accompong type). Anyhow, u can rch dehso fram round Mile Gully.
