The flight to Kingston was full and I ended up going to MoBay instead.

After dealing with the chaos that is American Airlines in Miami
(not doing that again) , then the fiasco with Budget read here about that debacle me make up me mind
not to drive Cross-Island to Town at night and in the rain, but pop in to Negril instead.

I think I was a beach bum in my previous life, as I have no problems at all idling away the whole day at the beach!

I've been trying to catch up to the &quot;Gleaner Lady&quot; because her hat made her very photogenic. But she de pon haste and all now mi cyaan keep up with her!

What little was left of Spring Breakers getting crunk in the background.




But me manage to catch up to her still and get her to pose for me.



She thought that I was a photographer for the Gleaner and that she will be on the front page of tomorrows paper.

She was quite disappointed seh that was not the case.

As you can see in the paper it was Champs Weekend and the reason why all flights to KIN were full. &lt;kissteet&gt;

Was meeting some very cool Boardites at sunset, but since de I don't promote any time-keeping devices, and me somehow end up in the opposite side of the beach from where I was staying, the whole of sunset miss me, and me late nuh rhatid!

This is as close as I got to it.




More idling inna de morning, another wonderful breakfast, a stop at Travelers Inn to buy two brick and by mid day touch the road.

Next time my friend. I decided to come to Negril about 30 seconds before setting out from MoBay, and stayed a short while. So never make plans fi linkage. Just link who happen to be around that time.

The South Coast route to Kingston is definately not the fastest.
However, ever since the North Coast Highway was built, I just don't enjoy driving that way as much again.

Plus this routing allows me to detour to my heart's desire and it's far more scenic. What made it nice this day is that it was Sunday, so no trucks on the road, and a nice easy Sunday vibe deh bout!

I try to only take pictures now in the morning and in the late afternoon. The pictures at midday just don't look as nice and I end up throwing them out anyway. But it just so happens that I always pass thru Bluefields at midday and there's no way around it.





Approaching Miggle Quatta. Since St. Bess dry and is drought year a Yard, you know seh St. Bess well crispy!




Was happy to see that due to no hurricanes in the recent years (touch wood ) Holland Bamboo recover quite nicely!
