Some observations around Kingston

Driving around town for seven days now. Just a few observations and opinions from driving around Kingston in the last week.
<ul style="list-style-type: disc">[*]Every other woman around age 20 is pregnant[*]Cell phones are surgically attached to everyone. Including policemen directing traffic.[*]People do not know how to resolve conflicts without violence.[*]Police officers have a clear presence.[*]Good wine is cheap[*]Paper towels are very expensive[*]An outstanding Chinese food restaurant is Dragon City in Northside Drive up on Hope Road.[*]There are a lot of Chinese folks from China all over Kingston. They seem like new arrivals.[*]Poor people are getting restless. Very restless.[*]There are way too many cars on Kingston roads. Air and noise pollution are at an all time high.[*]Devon House Grog Shoppe restaurant is under new management. The food - local fare - is very good and reasonable in price.[*]Courts, the furniture store, is the only store that does not accept a &quot;foreign&quot; credit card.[*]Rush hour traffic brings out violent behavior in folks.[/list]

Yes, Haki. Mommy knows the Moores. They also owned the gas station in Red Hills Square. I remember Mr. Moore vaguely. Their son was always smiling and I hear he had a daughter who went to college in Massachusetts. Is that you??

Mommy is a tough ol bird and shi is determined to give har six pickney h e l l When I was a teenager, I used to have so many chores around the house and I used to dream that one day I'll escape this prison But it was also delightful to daydream and read a lot. And I read a lot of books

This is me in the pool this morning that I used to have to clean every Saturday

The heap a animal dem roun di yaad

This is a kestrel that my brother-in-law rescued. He is fed liver and live lizards that my nephew will catch He is recuperating nicely and will be released soon

Very interesting; we used to see kestrels often over in Barbican - mi did think between Gilbert, cutting down of trees and more urbanization that dem did dead off. I hope your brother in law release him as well. A how far up Red Hills you dey?

My sister is having a birthday bash for her husband tonight at the house.. Here is the pool side set up. Pikcha quality noh too wonderful but I doan care Massive sound system being set up and the whole house smell nice yuhsi



BTW, some of the chairs and tables were borrowed from one of RichD's relatives who doan live too far an who mi sistah an har husband know well. The world is very small or else RichD family account for half of Jamaica. To rahtid.

and dat is just from my sisters preparation Others bringing food to neck back! Mi all hear seh smaddy a bring di requisite curry goat

Nice report Pz, gorgeous home and view that landscaping is just fabulous. Yes I know you said it need work but I can see when it was in its hey day. Mommie look like she doan ramp...
