Each trip I try to seek out a day trip that offers some type of spiritual cleansing or healing…I usually find peace in healing waters…

This trip it was Jackie’s on the Reef. Jackie's has always held a special place in my heart since my first trip. On my first trip after being delayed several days and lost luggage, Jackie's was the first stop after checking into Negril Palm Beach hotel. When I got there and stood near the water, I felt a sense of peace and calm engulf me and all of my burdens seemed to just roll away with each crashing wave.

One night while veturning out I met a new driver named Owen that had a clean and fairly new Honda minivan, a beautiful smile and a warm demeanor. He quoted me a price for Jackie’s that was comprable to what Richard was going to charge me. Since I have no problems branching out when it comes to good service, I made arrangements with him for my day at Jackie’s.

Thursday was a day of adventure.

When Owen called me that morning, I was prepared and ready to go. He told me what time to expect him, so I was able to pace my morning…until I had a snafu

Owen called and said that he’d be to me in 20 minutes.

I killed an insect with my shoe and carried my shoe to the bathroom trashcan to throw it away. BUT before I could make it into the bathroom, I slipped in between the bathroom and the hallway. One leg went into the bathroom the other was still stuck in the hallway. I had a cup of punch in my hand and that went flying all over

I banged up my knee but I kept it pushing. Got up quick and wiped down the walls and mopped the floor so I wouldn’t have ants upon my return.

Phone rang just as I was finishing the mopping, it was Owen, he was outside.

Day bag packed, I hopped in the van and looked forward to the day ahead

The eye is better but the docs still haven't decided if they want me to get go back into contacts full time yet, so for now I'm just wearing them at night when I go out for a few hours. I only had issues when I started wearing the Acuvue Oasis contacts, they are supposed to be one of the best, but my left eye just doesn't like it.

On the menu: <span style="font-weight: bold">Body Scrub</span> On past vists I’ve looked forward to the soothing relaxing massage given by gifted hands. Even when I fixed my mind for a scrub I end up choosing a massage. This time I got out of my box and booked a body scrub, it was so heavenly

Determination got the best of me. I was DETERMINED to take a picture with the waves perfectly crashing behind me. I took about 15 pictures before I got it right, well about as right as I could get it before I got fatigued

The body scrub was OMG deeeeeelightful. It consists of reflexology of the feet using aloe. Five natural herbs are boiled together to make a brew. You are scrubbed down with the brew using exfoliating gloves from head to toes, which detoxifies &amp; opens your pores.


After the scrub, I lounged around until lunch was ready

Ahhhhh a much needed <span style="font-weight: bold">Mokatee</span> trip report…

you never ever disappoint Babygirl. Your reports take me back and keep me there within beloved warmth until it’s time for us to go. Trust me I could use even visual warm after shoveling snow this morning.

Pictures are fab! Glad you didn’t hurt yourself during that slip and split…LOL. Oh yeah, LOVE how you captured that Tamboo sign with the sunset behind it. I took a few pics of the sign but the beauty of it doesn’t compare to yours.

Even though I wish to shovel snow one day, I know it ain't no joke when you live in the thick of it. Thank you Vi. It's always a pleasure to receive a positive endorsement from someone who's skills I admire

That slip didn't hurt as bad as my next boo boo, but it didn't ruin my trip so it was all good. More is on the way!!!
