Have you ever wanted to go somewhere so long, that when you finally get there it seems anti-climatic??


So it was for me and Frenchman's Cove

This has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.... maybe one of the most beautiful places anyone has ever been...
The fresh water river flowing into the salt water sea is not unique I am sure, but to me it is perfection... to my husband not so much sea wata cole

Miss Lilla was tired, I was PMS'ing, and my husband was ready to go from we reach

That combination left MUCH to be desired about our afternoon at Frenchman's and all I could think about was how much I missed Imanni, and how much he would have loved it there

Maybe next visit will be better, and I surely will have my boy by my side...

We got some amazing box food, fried chicken & rice and peas... and everyone was asleep long before me... I called Imanni, and cried when I hung up the phone. Such an amazing boy at 7 years old. "I hope you will have a good time Momma, when you smile I am happy." So sweet, and yet he has no idea that Momma will not truly smile until we are all in the same place once again...


Little boys are the best when you're a Mom.


The sunrise over Port Antonio brought a promise of a better day, and I was looking forward to our next destination...

Boston Beach was SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

We stopped for the famous Jerk, but it seem seh we were too early in the day, and they only had Jerk Pork ready, and some "overnight chicken" which noh sound to righted to me My honey got some pork, and I decided I could wait to eat...

But lawd, the view was well worth the stop, and I wish I would have been able to stay a while on this beach. So pretty!

Driving along the beautiful coast line of Jamaica, you can't help but be in awe of God and his creation.



The scenery is magnificent... the little country road is narrow, and when I look at the map and see we are indeed still on the <span style="font-style: italic">main</span> road I have to laugh... If this is a main road, I wonder what the REALLY little country roads look like!!??!!

We came upon a BIG sign that said Jamaican Colors Restaurant and Hotel...

By this point I was quite hungry, and we all needed to stretch our legs, so we turned down the driveway to one of the neatest little places in the middle of nowhere I have ever been

Run by a French couple who bought the land in 2004 when it was pure bush. The amount of work they put into this place was impressive. You could tell that they have put a lot of love in all the details, and must have spent a heap of money to do it too... Sadly they have the property up for sale, and due to the fact that we were the only ones there, I can imagine business is quite slow for them.

If you like the little cabin feel, and want to just get away from it all, this place would be perfect!
