Re: Champagne Toasts in Sweet Negril!

The ride to Negril took forever. It’s dark now. It was light out when we started, but it’s dark now.
The driver drops off the honeymooners first. They are staying at Breezes. How nice. He calls one of his friends to the van and asks “Whe innah Negril me find the Rayon?” Because it’s a new hotel, not all the drivers know about it. His friend didn’t know and neither did I. We drive until he sees someone else he knows. They tell him where it is, we turn around and in 5 minutes, he’s in the drive and I’m out the van. This place is beautiful. But all I want to do is shower and change clothes.
Shower and in fresh clothes…what a feeling…what a feeling. Finally me back with so much to look forward to. That’s the moment my smiling started and stayed there for the next 10 days.
My room phone rings.
Its Mokatee calling to say she’s on her way down. I can’t wait. Although our phone conversations lasts from 2 to 3 hours, this is our first time meeting face to face. The knock on the door came almost immediately and there she is, camera in hand she takes the first picture of the evening…me squealing to finally see her.
(Mokatee can’t post that picture because….well….umm…she just can’t )
She’s adorable. Seeing her beautiful smile is just what I needed to erase all drama from the day. We talked, hugged, then talked some more. She surprised me with a gift, a digital tripod for my cherished camera. “Thank you, Tee. I want you to know, I’ve used it three times and I love it!!!!”
