I wake up fairly early, but don’t get out of bed right away. I just lay there, enjoying my feel good minutes. No work. No traffic to fight. No blistering wind freezing my forehead. The year is already getting off to a perfect start. Sunshine everywhere and this bed is to die for. My dimple faced sista, Mokatee, is upstairs, just a few steps away. Could this day get any more perfect???? Yes it will because

Tee and I are anxious to see our Sammy. She and I have experienced Jamaica together a few years back, but we didn’t spend a lot of one on one time. I was impressed with this lady the moment I met her. True essence of grace, beauty and dignity so to be in her company again is going to be an absolute delight.

Mokatee is doing the beach today. I want to join her, but I need to get to a cambio and exchange some $$$. I rearrange clothes in my suite cases, shower and contact a driver to take me into town. He can’t come until 12 so I have a sandwich and write while I wait.







The sandwich, BLT, is good, but the view from the restaurant during the bright of the day is fantastic.

The 21 rooms, pool, bar, restaurant, gym, and immaculate furnishings and décor makes this place top rate. Every square foot is gorgeous.

I had the opportunity to meet the owner Mrs. Pansy Rayson.

We sat for a long time talking about the Rayon and how it came about. She and her husband are the owners. Together they furnished and decorated each and every room. They hope to buy the property next door so they can expand. Right now, business is soaring and they are sometimes booked to capacity. But that’s a good thing. She’s an amazing woman. Extremely intelligent and business savy. She lived in New York before deciding to return to Jamaica and start the business. While living in the states, she was a Financial Advisor so her business skills are top notch. I almost asked her for a job.

After our chat, we exchanged contact information and I strolled the property to take pictures. I took a lot, but will post the best to give everyone an idea of the beauty of this place.
