i take a leisurely drive to negril . . . took me about 8 hrs with a few stops . . . took the wrong turn and ended up in portmore, after that it was smooth sailing.

looking through barry's lane to the beach.

i met another single traveller on the beach in negril and we decide to take a ride up and through little bay.

as we drive, we come across this unfinished structure . . . a home that has a foundation, roof and no walls, stunning views

the young man invites me up to take pics. sue is too scared to get out of the car . . .
he tells me he is a dancer "scalelee" who replaced bogle(sp?) . . . i remember reading about bogle's death . . .
he wants me to take pics of all his dancing outfits and jewelery . . .

he's scarred . . . i don't ask and he doesn't volunteer . . .

Hi, Jitters! Loving your report and pictures, especially Port Antonio! Just catching up and these made my day. This picture of someone's home from Winnifred, is this Otis's home? How is Winston? We sent down a specialty light bulb for his European underwater light that he couldn't find replacements for. I sure hope he got it and it works for him. He was supposed to wright me and let me know then I could bring another one down with us.

hi schutzie, the house above winnifred is winston's home, the rasta. not sure if he got batteries or not . . . i bought him some also . . .

i hope we cross over again sometime . . . i had a blast with your family . . . your daughtes are stunning also . . .

blue mountain trip

i did not reach the top . . . extreme fear of heights . . . dave was driving and i spent most of the time on the floor of the car . . . looked out as much as i could . . .

we came to a spot where the road was totally destroyed [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif[/img] . . . about 50 feet of the road [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70384-praying.gif[/img] . . . the locals kind of just padded some of red earth and - that was the new road, it was extremely slanted to the left with nothing but straight down . . . i could not manage that [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bexbad.gif[/img] . . . end of that trip . . . dave backed the car for a long time before he could turn it around . . . i walked it while he was backing up [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img] . . .

sue from toronto - my travel companion in negril . . .

driving the road to little bay, this rasta had veggies for us . . .

a property on ella lane

robert - lives in kingston, owner of group7 promotions . . . we met walking the beach early in the morning . . . had some great insight into jamaican runnings . . . had a great fun morning . . .
