I worked right down the street from here. Me and my friends would take our power walks here. But honey, that park is "alternative lifestyle" central. The minute you walk in that park it's like "how you doin...awrite".

poor thing got pulled over for speeding down some unfamiliar road in Marietta because she was trying to find me a Starbucks so I could get my Chai Latte

third, she drives no worse than me so I fell asleep most times

Welcome to MARIETTA, the cops dont play out here! They are on every street corner, and you always always see them sitting somewhere with their radar gun! I just practice driving slower!

you are right natty he was nicely situated in the side bushes and we didnt see him til we were right on top of him. after that, you could see then everywhere cause we were looking for them.

nevertheless, i do have to admit that he was really polite and friendly with us. He told us how to get to the Starbucks; gave up info about an even better locally owned coffee place; and a chocoloate store in case I wanted to carry stuff back to Canada.

For a minute I thought he wasnt gonna give MMK the ticket but I think he had to no choice. So him lowering the recorded speed was a cool thing cause otherwise it would have been a fine and demerits.

as for the rest of you babies this trip report is about ME, so please to cuss MMK in one next thread, please and thank you

The trip to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens was not at all planned...rather we stumbled across the place as we were driving around downtown Atlanta on Monday. The sad part is that the Gardens is closed on Mondays, so I could only take pictures of the outside area.

I LOVE flowers and gardens so this was a slice of heaven for me. If I could capture the scents and smells to post, I most certainly would:

The stalks of these lilies where at least 6 feet high. I would have love to see them in full bloom.

I dont remember the name of this tree but the foliage on it was so cool looking. It looked like it was moving even though there was no wind that day.

Alright, so originally I booked my trip for only 5 days in ATL. Surprisingly enough, MMK and I got along so well I decided to stay longer and celebrate my birthday down there. Gullygirl's birthday was the day before mine so the entire weekend was about celebrating.

However, MMK had other plans for me I had to earn my keep before she would take me out for my birthday....
I got dragged off the couch to do this
