So we finally arrive at the hotel in Moorea... we are given a welcome drink and more Leis... the hotel is very nice and we are shown to our bungalow... (initially we had booked an over the water bungalow but then my MIL tols us a story about snakes that lived in teh rafters of the overwater bungalows so we quickly changed our minds - we then tried to get a beach bungalow - but those were booked - so we ended up with a garden bungalow - which was fine)

The bungalow is just beautiful and everything inside is top quality... apparently our travel agent had indicated to them that we are "VIP" customers of the firm and that we were on our honeymoon becasue there were many gifts waiting for us at the bungalow... fresh fruits, champagne, a Pareu for me, a T-shirt for him, a tin of traditional Polynesian tea an some odda likkle tings which I can;t remember now.

I loved the shower which was totally open and had a glass door which opened to the oustside - just in case u want to have an outside wash off one day... we loved it and the view was simply beautiful!

So we got settled and then we were both hungry so we decided to grab something to eat... we settled on burgers since dinner was not too far off... si dem here each burger cost $30 - I couldn;t even focus on the spectacular view







after eating I needed a drink to get me over the shock of the burger price so this is where my sneaky plan kicked in... Remember I had told you that I read about the prices - so prior to leaving the States we stopped at the liquor store and picked up a bottle of our favorites... Greyy Goose for me and Bacardi for him.

so we went to the bar an orderd some fruit drinks and took them back to the bumgalow to chase our liquor... sat on teh verandah and had a nice afternoon cocktail session before dinner - It was JUST PERFECT!!!!! *sigh*

It is dinner time and we shower and get dressed... I'm excited becasue I was told that they have a show every night - right by the outdoor restaurant...

I'm ready!!!



We are eating and teh show starts in the middle of dinner... my wonderful, new hubby RUNS OFF with his video camera to tape the show and leaves me sitting at the table by myself (I'm sure the half nekkid dancing girls had NOTHING to do with that ) - in one of the numbers one of the girls come inside to dance and I was able to capture that one... ( I haven;t been able to upload his videos yet becasue they require conversion. I used the flip to record mines... no conversion needed

Mi nat even memba - some sort of decoration I guess (shows you how observant I am \o/ ) - the light switch was waay below so it wasn;t a switch...

I'll have to try that... truthfully, I didn;t even realize that I was capturing MY image until after I started going through the photos

bout take your toys away. I am really enjoying the report, just told my girlfriend last night how beautiful the pictures were.

Food price is outrageous, I keep getting stuck on the prices!
