We had beer and fried clams for lunch - ocean view!! [Loopsie to insert location] I am officially hooked on fried clams. This area had the most interesting docks! [photos to follow]

Oh, and have I mentioned it was raining!?





Now, onward to the Lighthouse [Loopsie name ] We checked out the visitor license plates: Maine , New York , New Jersey , Massachusetts (Loops has a different name for this state) , Florida and Colorado !

Walking in this area was unreal - I had the big Wanda Poppins umbrella and was almost uplifted several times. This spot was really cool and I could see spending several hours here [in the sun]. Next reach!!

Ok - still raining so........... time to check out a few shops! Mexicali Blues !!!!!

Wanda be in Clothing Heaven!! I even found a top and pants that FIT me!!!!! Well, actually Loops found my new wardrobe. It is fun shopping with another gal - point out things you would not normally select for yourself! And the price was right!!! P.S. I have since found their website!! I may have to go back to Maine just to revisit this store!



This entire area of Maine is so cool - the highways are closely surrounded by trees, wonderful villages and there is water everywhere - fresh and saltwater. The roads are what I would call quaint! So much old architecture and the homes are fairly big. It was fun looking at the villages, homes and gardens!!



We pick up dinner!!! Loops makes oven fried chicken- yummy!!! We had stopped at a local outdoor market - there were tomatoes there I had never tried before - so naturally we had to pick them all up and .............Loops made this fantastic 4 types of tomato salad. Also tried my first beer made in Maine - Chamberlain! Ok - this is the life! P.S. Can Loopsie COOK!! all ova again just thinking about this!!



Oh - and the great presidential debate was on that night which we enjoyed watching . . . but based on the way that went . . . .good thing there was a lot of beer.!!

Late night ice cream snack and . . .
