Because there are no country music radio stations in NYC, Pooh listens online to a Philadelphia station...the station recently had a big, free show to celebrate their 25th anniversary, and Pooh scored a pair of tickets for us....so off to Philly we go....

We were only in town for about 48 hours, with most of Saturday spent at the concert...but that did leave us some time to sight-see...

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Downtown (yay Hotwire! $67/nite ), located just under the Benjamin Franklin Bridge....

We took a stroll through Elfreth's Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America....today thirty-two houses, built between 1728 and 1836, line the alley...

check for the 2 pennies on the marker...despite Ben's advice that "a penny saved is a penny earned", leaving a penny on his grave is thought to bring good luck....when we walked by Sunday morning, it looked like this....I guess there's lotsa people lookin' for luck....
