Dave, this is great. I love love love the Keys and, particularly, Key West.
I see you love dead people. That cemetery is amazing. Almost as good as some of them in New Orleans.
One of your pictures was taken about 2 houses away from where I stayed. Wonderful place.
Did you go to the Jamaican restaurant? (Can't remember the name, but it was down by the water.) Pretty good stuff.
BTW, I woke up early this morning and my bottom was itching. No kidding!
So, I scratched it, thought of you and rolled over and went back to sleep.Comment

I've been a few times. Last time tho was back about 11 years ago. Awesome!!
Exploring the other keys up Route 1 was fun as well.

TDude, Laurel, QK, I'm quite certain that most any Jamaicaholic would "get" Key West....sure, they're very different places, but there's a certain laid back vibe that I found they both share...
Nylah, bink...it was really fascinating touring the cemetery...I especially appreciated the quirky sense of humor among the deceased that's matched only by that of the living...
and you keep right on scratchin' that itch, bink!

we eventually ended up at the Conch Republic Seafood Company, where we had been invited to join the "Conchtail Hour"!
...it's basically a Happy Hour meet & greet with some locals and those tourists who are in the know about such things ....they were really a fun and welcoming cast of characters...in fact, one visiting couple were nice enough to meet us for lunch on Monday and then drive us to the airport...thanks Nick & Barbara 
you can spot the party by finding the Conch Republic flag tied to one of the tables....
afterward, we went back to our place to settle in and watch the Yankee game....Comment
