The best advice I got on my last trip was from a guy at the airport here in Florida. He said "you're going to Jamaica? When you get there, first thing you do is take off your watch and put it away. Don't put it back on until you're at the airport for your flight back"

I did exactly what he said, and had the best time of my life.

The weather most days will be partly sunny, 85 degrees Fahrenheit, chance of rain in the afternoon (but not long....maybe for an hour)....

Gran Bahia is close to some very nice excursions...por ejemplo, you can visit Ocho Rios (Dunns River Falls, Fern Gully, shopping), or you could go to the Bob Marley home in Nine Mile ...I will send you the phone number of a friend of mine who is a licensed taxi driver...he can show you whatever you'd like to see...

I have read a lot of information about jamaica and i'm thinking to do these tours:

Dunn's rivers

Mayfield falls

Black River

Bob Marley home

what do you think about it? did i left anything? how much (more or less) will it cost to me?

I'll be thankful if you give me the phone number.

I also get some school material (like pencils, colours,...) and sweets to give to children... where can i go?

another doubt i have is... the only way to swim with dolphins is "dolphins cove"?? i think it's too expensive... 200 USD per person.. :S

as I mentioned above, Dunns River and the Bob Marley home are good tours from Runaway Bay....Mayfield Falls and Black River are too far away from where you will be....you could also visit Brownstown (try to go on market day...I think it's on Wednesdays )...your tour guide could also arrange a visit to a school so you can bring your school materials....

Dolphins Cove is the only place to swim with dolphins....don't bother, it's too expensive and the dolphins are not treated well...

rates for tours are negotiable ("negociable&quot

...make sure you find out the cost <span style="font-weight: bold">before</span> you leave for your tour...

Personally I think that the Dolphin Cove is a wonderful experience and a great chance
to enjoy a memorable tour of the complex and then a few hours with the Dolphins.

This is just my humble opinion that is shared by the majority of visitors to this unique complex.

finally i think these will be my tours:

- Bob Marley's home
- Ocho Rios Beach (this i'm not sure, any opinion?)
- browns town market (thanks dave :P)

and i think the rest i want to enjoy the resort...

what do you think about it? any suggestions?
