I'm still catching up with email and the boards.
We survived Ok, damage as stated above so lucky compared to others.
Thank you all so much for your good wishes, there is nothing we need but roofing materials which wont fit in ant suitcases!! but thanks very much for the offers.We will however be starting a hurricane barrel for future storms,we intend to stock candels, batteries, big plastic's, tin food ect.
I am checking on local schools, kids homes etc for their needs but having problems getting hold of people.
Re: Chef's van..the bus is fine, our neighbour let us park by his house so it had some shelter.
So he is ready to roll...our upstairs rooms took a battering but hope to somehow restore them soon.
Ochi is almost back to normal, Couples hotel roof took a beating and some beachfront properties have nuff to clean up but Ochi got off light.
The main damge is inland and around Kingston/Portland side some have lost everything.
