My name is Kathy and I am new to this site. I hope to make new friends here and get to know about the Jamaican people and culture. I am a teacher's aide and I live in Florida USA. I Love music and to write poetry and to cook. I love spending time with family and friends when I am not on line. I just recently completed 2 poetry books on lulu.com. I like all kinds of music and my dream is to one day come and visit Jamaica, I am sure pictures and tv shows on the Travel channel don't do it justice. I hope to get to know some of you very well.

I am new also to this. I lived in Orlando,Fl but now in Canada 8 years. Burr,even cold in summer some days. Jamaica is a beautiful island being native from there, lived in kingston. Met my wife and have a daughter. How's the weather, since you guys had a storm ???

It is still very rainy here off and on. I have been to canda once. I visited Montreal and I loved it. It was a little cool and expensive but I had a great time.
