Most people who I know ..have memories of *cruel* things she did or said ..I can't remember hearing of any kind,generous or heart warming stories of Miss Pinto..
I value discipline but during our formative years.., many of us could have used some kind words..

There was an article in the newspaper few yrs ago I kept it and it described her as harsh and unrelenting..

she did tell us dat we hair muss press r straighten...of course mi did eena wan lil rebel form..an all who had press hair go ome an wash it out ..di ppl wid straighten hair wet it an chiny bump it so it would be frizzy ..and we tormented dat rule till parents confronted her..
Ms Pinto acted like she missed di white oppression and tought she saw an opportunity to continue some aspect of it at the school..
she did *tuff* awrite...heehe
shi still live uppa Mona..ppl from To who went to the celebration came bak wid piks of her..

Old Pinto still alive... I was always curious to know whe she and mi granfatha had going on. I pass exam fi go a St Hildas but dem never want me fi board out so mi granfatha go talk to Pinto and same day I was in Wolmers. One day she came ragging at me like a bull because I was wearing me white sneakers instead of the black shoes and when I tell her who me granfatha wuz she just go bout her business..... dem musi did ha something going on
