Mandeville, 1960's and 70's

I think I'm one of the luckiest people in the world to have spent my childhood and teenage years living in Jamaica, specifically Mandeville and Ewarton (near Linstead). Originally from England, we moved to Jamaica because my Dad worked for Alcan.

I was one of the first students at Bishop Gibson school when it opened it's doors in 1962 (then just Bishop's High School).

I'm looking to link up with people from Mandeville or Bishops in the early days. In those days I was Carol Walker so if the name rings a bell, please e-mail me or post a message here!

My Dad was Tony Walker if that's the "him" you're referring to! He worked at Kirkvine from 1958 to 1964, then Ewarton 1964-66 then back to Kirkvine 1969-1976.

nevva know seh a Mandeville u come from men? Mi bawn a Hargreaves and lived, for a while up a "__________ Crescent" - cant remember the full name.
