Luiz, you must be one of the fortunate one to have access to internet, what do you do in Brazil? Are you Afro-Brazilian? I had worked with some white Brazilians here in the US and I didn't care for those jerks.

The Brazilian movie City of God was very informative. Is rural areas as dangerous as the city?

Can be a separate debate about this but...

Most Afrikans shipped to the caribbean were from West &amp; Central Africa. Swahili is predominantly East &amp; Southern, so likely to be Ghanaian languages or languages in other such situated countries.

Swahili/Kiswahili is often chosen by modern diasporan Africans because it is now one of the most widely used languages in modern day African continent...but this is of course besides the point of this post
