New here...Spent 3 years in NAS Guantanamo Bay Cuba before it turned bad a few years ago...met some fantastic,FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC Jamaican friends there. Ended up, just from that experience, going to Jamaica (Ocho Rios) in '06 o experience the culture...I think my soul is still there, it stayed while my body flew back to the States. Totally redneck Floridian girl...animal nurse at an animal hosp for 8yrs, dollmaker for 6yrs...wife, mom, daughter....love to cook and am in total denial ackees cannot be found within the US...ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img]
born and raised in central Florida, but heart stuck in Jamaica, man.
Precarious spot to be in, methinks. I have taken to taking baths in my tub in salt water, to encouter that sort of peace as to be found in Jamaica.
