(From left) Vice-presidents for Guardian Life's Employee Benefits Division and Individual Life Sales Alicia Foster and Glendon Gordon present a cheque valuing $1.29 million to President of Northern Caribbean University Dr Trevor Gardner and the instituion's assistant vice-president for Health and Wellness Dr Patricia Gardner. The presentation was made on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the launch of NCU's 10,000 Steps per Day in 10 Weeks programme, at the institution's Mandeville campus. The goal of the programme is to motivate NCU employees to lead active lifestyles by taking at least 10,000 steps a day over a 10-week period. Their progress will be measured by pedometers provided by the Guardian Group of Companies.
