Jamaica last week urged the Dominican Republic to bring its laws and policies in line with recommendations made by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) in response to a controversial Constitutional Court ruling in that Spanish-speaking country that will leave thousands of Haitian migrants and their children born in the Dominican Republic stateless.
