The annual Sigma Corporate Run was not only a fund-raising success ($21.6 million), it attracted a record 22,268 participants who all enjoyed the 5.5 kilometre run/walk, knowing that their effort has contributed to improving conditions at the Special Care Nursery at the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI), Sickle Cell Unit at UHWI as well as the Sickle Cell Trust in Mandeville, and Jamaica Kidney Kids Foundation.
