US names Antigua, Bahamas, Belize and Haiti as money laundering countries
WASHINGTON DC, United States (CMC) – The United States has named several Caribbean Community (CARICOM) countries as major money laundering states whose financial institutions engage in currency transactions involving significant amounts of proceeds from international narcotics trafficking.
This is hilarious. Between the Bush's Iran-contra drug ops, the Clinton's Mena airport smuggling operation, and the CIA poppy crops in Afghanistan....well, I guess the gov't is just trying to control the markets. Business as usual.
