KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica joins forces on Wednesday with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), and other Caribbean States, in facilitating a one-day tabletop Tsunami simulation exercise. The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM), with its partner agency the National Meteorological Service of Jamaica, and the Earthquake Unit, will be participating in a discussion session based on messages disseminated by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre (PTWC).
