Bangladeshis gather at the National Parade Ground to create a Guinness world record of most people singing the national anthem in unison, to mark the country's Independence Day in Dhaka, Bangladesh, yesterday. A total of 2,54,681 people reportedly gathered and sang the national anthem to surpass the earlier record holders in India, according to news reports. The event was organised by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs with the assistance of Bangladesh Armed forces. (PHOTO: AP)
