The Rev Dr Fedlyn Beason proudly accepts the key to the County of Broward Commissioner and Mayor of Broward County Barbara Sharief. Occasion was a recent dinner in honour of Bishop Beason and his wife Esmin, held at the Ft Lauderdale Airport Hotel. Commissioner Sharief commended Dr Beason for his 15 years of involvement in the community. He currently serves as pastor of the Davy Community Church, a marriage counsellor and a notary public. Some 350 guests, a number from Jamaica, attended the function at which Beasons was also honoured for his 53 years of service to the cburch. Bishop Beason is a former national overseer for the New Testament Church of God in Jamaica and, prior to his recent retirement, served as the Caribbean field director for Church of God World Missions.
