Hugh Graham (right), managing director of Paramount Trading (Jamaica) Limited, presents a cheque for $1.65 million to assist with the purchase of a Transoesophageal Echocardiogram to be used for diagnosis of children selected for heart surgery at the Bustamante Hospital for Children. Accepting on behalf of the Bustamante Hospital for Children and Chain of Hope are (from left) Kenneth Benjamin, chairman of Bustamante Hospital for Children; Anthony Wood, CEO of the hospital; Dr Sherard Little, cardiothoracic surgeon and chairman of Chain of Hope Jamaica; Matron Patricia Ingram-Martin, Dr. Michelle-Ann Dawson, senior medical officer; and Carla Newsam, executive director, Chain of Hope Jamaica. This latest donation brings the total amount donated by Paramount Trading to the hospital to $2.15 million. Chain of Hope is the charity that supports the cardiac programme at the hospital.
