Protesters gather at the main gate of the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies in support of Professor Brendan Bain, who was Tuesday sacked as director of the Regional Co-ordinating Unit of the Caribbean HIV/AIDS Regional Training Network. The university bowed to pressure after howls of protest came from gay lobby groups after Bain gave his professional opinion in a Belize Court on the risks associated with men who have sex with men.
