JAMAICA Observer online readers have heaped praises and admiration on St Thomas native Peter Nelson, who, at 25 years old, has a PhD in chemistry from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and will shortly take up one of five post-doctoral fellowships at Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Reacting to a story published yesterday in Observer North & East, readers say Dr Nelson, who was raised by his mother, should serve as an inspiration for "young minds". Here are some edited comments:
