A $142-million contract was signed last week by the Wolmer's Trust for the construction of a new auditorium at the Wolmer's Boys' School in Kingston. Here, contractor Bruce English (left) of the firm Bruce English and associates points out the special features of the auditorium to (from second left) Douglas Orane, chairman of the Fundraising Committee; Pauline Findlay, chairman of the Wolmer's Board of Management; Lincoln McIntyre, chairman of the Wolmer's Boys' Sub-Committee; and Milton Samuda, chairman of the Wolmer's Trust. The auditorium, which will seat 2,300 people, will have a theatrical stage, a mezzanine floor and meeting rooms, and will accommodate indoor courts for basketball and other sports. It is scheduled for completion in April 2015. (PHOTO: ASTON SPAULING)
