A $142-million contract was signed last week by the Wolmer's Trust for the construction of a new auditorium at the Wolmer's Boys' School in Kingston. The auditorium, which will seat 2,300 people, will have a theatrical stage, a mezzanine floor and meeting rooms, and will accommodate indoor courts for basketball and other sports.
